Terms and conditions


These Sales and Delivery Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of goods on stilleben.mom. For goods purchased in our flagship store, other rules may apply, and we therefore refer to the store.

When you shop at stilleben.mom

When you place your order via our website, our system will automatically send an order confirmation to your email. A binding agreement has been entered into once you have received an order confirmation. 

When we ship the item(s) from our warehouse, you will receive an email from us with further information, including a tracking number.

Please note that VAT is included for EU countries only. Duties and local taxes may be added upon receipt.

 

Price errors and product reservation

We continuously update our range, prices, and descriptions on the website. Unfortunately, errors may occur. We therefore reserve the right to correct price errors, typographical errors, sold-out items, and inaccuracies in product descriptions.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel your order if a material error has occurred in the pricing or description of the item. In such cases, you will naturally be contacted as soon as possible.

Please note that product colours may vary slightly from what is shown on your screen, as different screens have different colour rendering capabilities. We do our best to ensure that the images are as accurate as possible.


Payment

On stilleben.mom, you can pay with the following payment methods: 
MasterCard, Visa, Dankort, and MobilePay.

The amount for the goods is only debited from your account when the goods are shipped. In case of partial delivery, only the amount corresponding to the actual delivery will be debited.


Delivery

We offer delivery to addresses in both Denmark and several countries outside Denmark. If your country is missing from the list of destinations we ship to, you are welcome to contact us.

We ship every weekday until 12:00 PM. If you placed your order before then, you can expect it to be shipped the same day.

Our delivery times depend on your country. The expected delivery times are as follows:
Denmark: 1-3 business days
Europe: 2-5 business days
Rest of the World: 3-6 business days

For countries outside the EU, delays may occur due to customs control. Generally, delays may also occur during busy periods, for example around Christmas and during periods with many public holidays.

In Denmark, we ship all orders with GLS, and you can choose whether you want your order delivered to a parcel shop, to your private address, or to a business address. 
When selecting parcel shop delivery, you can choose which parcel shop you prefer when proceeding to checkout.

We do not ship to Greenland, Iceland, or the Faroe Islands.

An island surcharge may be added to certain destinations. We unfortunately do not currently ship to Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, USA, and Canada.


Right of withdrawal (Cancellation and returns)

You have a 30-day right of withdrawal when shopping with us. If you have purchased multiple items, you may choose to withdraw only part of the delivery. 

The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you:

  • Have received your item, or the person you have chosen has received it.
  • Gain physical possession of the last item, in the case of an agreement concerning several different items that were ordered in one order and delivered individually.

If the withdrawal period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Day, the deadline is extended to the following business day. 

Please note that the right of withdrawal lapses if you use the product in a way that clearly reduces the sales price significantly. Products must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were received, as well as in the original packaging. Otherwise, you will receive a refund corresponding to the item's condition. 

 

What do I do if I want to withdraw?

If you wish to withdraw your purchase, you must notify us of your wish to withdraw before the withdrawal deadline expires. You can notify us by sending an email to webshop@stilleben.mom.

In your notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, and whether you wish to return all or part of your purchase, along with your order number. You will find this in your order confirmation, which you received when you placed your order.

 

Do you want to exchange an item – different colour / different size?

Our exchange procedure is exactly the same as our return procedure. If you wish to exchange an item for a different colour or size, you must return the item as described above and then place a new order for the desired colour or size. We will refund the full amount for the returned items once we have received your package. 

 

Forgotten to pick up your package? 

If you forget to pick up your package at the selected parcel shop, it will automatically be sent back to us. In this case, we will refund the amount for the purchased goods, but we will not refund the shipping costs.

 

Damaged parcels?

The goods are insured in transit, and we kindly ask you to check the content of the parcel upon receipt. If the parcel or the content is damaged upon receipt, please let us know within 24 hours after receipt so we can get the item cost refunded. Please e-mail us pictures to webshop@stilleben.mom of the parcel, the packaging and the damaged items.

After approving, we will provide you with a free return label and ask you to return the parcel to us. When received, we will kindly replace the item or return the cost of the item if no longer in stock.

 

How to return

Please note that items purchased on stilleben.mom cannot be returned to our physical store. Items purchased in our physical store can only be returned in the store and can be exchanged for another product or a voucher.

The return of the item must take place without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to return the item. 

You must pay the costs associated with your return yourself. You can buy a GLS return label here (only applies to returns from Denmark).

Label and instructions will be sent to your email once the purchase of the label is complete.

If you choose to purchase a return label elsewhere yourself, you must send the item to the following address:

Please note that we do not accept return packages sent to parcel shops. It is also not possible to return packages using DAO.

We only accept returns of items purchased in our webshop. Items purchased in our flagship store must be returned to the store.


Refund of the purchase price upon withdrawal

If you withdraw your entire purchase, we will refund the full purchase price to you, including standard delivery costs. However, please note the following exceptions:

  • If you only return part of your order, any delivery costs will not be refunded.
  • If you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard delivery option, the additional cost will not be refunded.

We will refund the purchase price once we have received your returned items. Please note that processing time should be expected, as our items are received by an external warehouse. You will be notified of the refund once we have completed the return, and you can expect to see the amount in your account 3-7 business days thereafter.


The refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have explicitly accepted another form of refund, such as a voucher. The refund is always free of charge for you. 

 

Packaging and item condition upon return 

When you return an item to us, you must return it in its original packaging. You have the right to open the packaging to inspect the item, but if the packaging is missing or damaged, it constitutes a reduction in value, which may result in us deducting an amount from the purchase price corresponding to the reduction in value before the purchase price is refunded. 
It is your own responsibility to ensure that the item is properly packaged when you send it back. You bear the risk for the item until we have received it.

 

Claims (Warranty)

As a customer, you have a 2-year right to claim according to the Sale of Goods Act if the item has a defect. This means that you are generally entitled to have the item repaired or exchanged. If the repair cannot be carried out within a reasonable time, you may, depending on the circumstances, instead receive a discount on the price or have the purchase price refunded.  

 

How do I make a claim?

If you wish to make a claim about a defect, you must send an email to our customer service webshop@stilleben.mom within a reasonable time. We recommend that you make a claim as soon as possible after discovering the defect.

Please send us a picture of the product along with the description of the fault and your order number. 

If your claim is approved, we will send you a return label so you can return the product without cost to you.

When returning the item, you must ensure that the item is properly packaged and that you receive a receipt so that we can refund your reasonable shipping costs.

 

Other terms and conditions

Intellectual property rights

stilleben.mom and all content on the website, including design, text, and images, are protected by copyright and trademark legislation. This content belongs to Stilleben ApS and may not be copied, downloaded, or used without our prior written consent.

Processing of personal data

By completing a purchase, you accept our Data Protection Policy (Privacy Policy). We process your information in order to fulfil our agreement with you, including payment processing, preparation, and shipping of your order. We use external suppliers (e.g., Shopify and payment processors) to provide services on our behalf, which involves the transfer of your data to these third parties.

Third-party links

Our website may contain links to external websites or online platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, security, or data protection practices on these external sites. If you follow a link, you must review the respective third party's policies and terms.

Choice of law and jurisdiction

The purchase of goods on stilleben.mom is subject to Danish law. Any dispute that may arise in connection with these sales and delivery terms and conditions shall be settled by the Danish courts, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory EU rules.


Complaint options

If you wish to complain about a purchase from our webshop, you must first send an email to our customer service webshop@stilleben.mom

If we fail to find a solution together, you can submit a complaint to the Conciliation Body for Consumer Complaints (Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager). If we do not agree on a solution there, you as a buyer can proceed to the Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet).
